The Family Resource Center will be running workshops for Kershaw County parents, and other adults working with teens designed to help start discussions with about self-esteem, puberty/sexuality, mixed messages in the media, peer pressure ect. The first workshop will be held at the United Way of Kershaw County, located at 110 East DeKalb Street Camden, Oct. 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. Now that teens are learning about sex at school, on TV, in the movies, and on the web, what’s left for parents to say?
