Rain may have made King Kat tournament better
King Kat Oct. 2019 - First Place
Richard Wimmer and Kevin Hubbard, of Princeton, W. Va., show off part of their first-place haul following a King Kat Tournament Trail event on Lake Wateree on Oct. 4 and 5. Wimmer and Hubbard won first-place, despite having no time to pre-fish, earning a $3,000 cash prize.
Catfish anglers from eight states traveled to Lake Wateree for a King Kat Tournament Trail presented by Bass Pro Shops Cabela’s and sponsored locally by the Discover Camden - Kershaw County Tourism Partnership. Twenty-six teams gathered at Camden to test their catfishing skills against other anglers and Mother Nature.
