Bethune - Right.jpg

Historic Camden will host the second annual Revel, presented by OceanaGold-Haile Operation and Sandhills Medical Foundation Inc. this Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m. at the historic Kershaw-Cornwallis House & Garden on the grounds of the Historic Camden Revolutionary War Site in Camden.

Revel guests will enjoy an evening of merriment with a backcountry Colonial flair complete with décor, craft cocktails and artisanal heavy hors d’oeuvres inspired by the 18th century. Guests will be greeted in period-style in the Historic Kershaw-Cornwallis House with a sip of Colonial recipe rum punch while being amused by the English Country Dancers.

In the enchanting garden, tents under the stars will feature cover band The Items, a full open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres buffet, a curated silent auction, fund - a - need auction, games, and more. The buffet, prepared by Indigo Jones Catering, will include a delightful modern take on Colonial-era fare.

Guests are encouraged to wear relaxed attire and comfortable shoes to the event and dress for the weather as most of the festivities will be held outside.

The Revel benefits Historic Camden’s mission to protect, preserve, and celebrate Camden’s extraordinary Colonial and Revolutionary War history.

Event tickets are $85. Visit www.HistoricCamden.org/Revel to purchase tickets and see a full listing of sponsorship opportunities. Tickets are also available for purchase in the Historic Camden gift shop.
