Second annual Teen Pregnancy Prevention Walk-a-thon set for May 19

The second annual Teen Pregnancy Prevention Walk-a-thon will be held on Saturday, May 19 beginning at 9 a.m. and is sponsored by the Camden First United Methodist Women. The purpose of the walk is to bring awareness of teenage pregnancy in Kershaw County and South Carolina.The goals include; to promote and support initiatives, agencies, and community partnerships that provide education, services, and programs designed for youth regarding the issues and problems of teenage pregnancy; and to raise capital to make an effective effort to decrease teenage pregnancy in Kershaw County and South Carolina. The cost to register for individual is $25, groups of three or more will cost per person $15.
