SPRINGDALE 5K set for August 8
Pony rides, food and a trail run among planned activities

August 8, the sixth annual Springdale 5k will start bright and early at 8 a.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit the partner agencies and health initiatives of the United Way of Kershaw County. This year’s Springdale 5K will have some new features and activities for participants and their families including free pony rides, a trail run, Belgian waffles following the race and a new course. Springdale 5K Course Supervisor and Camden Fire Department Deputy Chief Phil Elliot organized the race course which will begin this year at the National Steeplechase Museum.
