Students Live United, donate money
Advisor Michael Grigsby, Kaycee Boone and Kayla Knight watch as Chad Smith give United Way Director Donny Supplee and United Way Board Chair Edwin Kohn the check.
Students from North Central High School presented a $4,000 check to United Way of Kershaw County during the December board meeting. The students have raised money all year from selling snow cones, hot chocolate, pizza and hosting a bonfire dance. “I’m very proud of these students,” NCHS principal Worth Thomason said.
