The Camden Music Association (CMA) will present its annual Spring Instrumental Showcase, Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Wood Auditorium of the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County (FAC.) Tuesday’s concert will feature a number of local students in a variety of musical disciplines from the North Central Band Ensemble, Doby’s Mill Rockin’ Recorders, and Strings in the Afternoon. 2012 Brevard Scholarship winner, Zack Truesdale, (marimba) will perform along with Junior Scholarship winner Kirkland Moranos (flute) and Senior Scholarship winner Bailey Dabbs (piano). Also joining the CMA will be Alexis Reid, Isabel Tarte, Jarismary Polo and Javier Polo piano students of Becky Tafel; Jacob Thrall, a student of Helen Walker’s of Doby’s Mill Elementary; and a string ensemble under the direction of Patty Tolbert.
