Three of Camdens Confederate memorials honored during 100 year monument rededication ceremony

In June the S. C. Division Children of the Confederacy (C of C) along with John D. Kennedy Chapter No. 308 United Daughters of the Confederacy and Joseph B. Kershaw Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp No. 81 rededicated three of Camden’s Confederate Monuments which were erected in 1911: The Pantheon in Rectory Square, The Richard Kirkland Memorial Fountain in Hampton Park, and Richard Kirkland’s Grave in Quaker Cemetery.
