Unimin Corporation hosts deer hunt in support of Wounded Warriors

The Unimin Corporation’s Lugoff plant sponsored a deer hunt for the "Wounded Warriors Project" Saturday. South Carolina Department of Natural Resource officers Matt McCaskill and John Baird were present to show their support.

The event was very successful and the Warriors, employees and children all had a great time. Lunch was provided at the hunt, during which time many stories were shared.

Unimin Plant Manager Mick Mickelson stated, "These Warriors are truly fine people and they gave their all for this country." Mickelson also said he is planning another event in November for Warriors with special needs.
