Veterans Day observance held in Cedars Cemetery

Newly-elected Kershaw County Council Chairman Julian Burns, a retired U.S. Army General, spoke at Cedars Cemetery on Wednesday. Burns will take office in January. Retired Kershaw County Director of Voter Registration Rosalind Watson served as mistress of ceremonies.
A Veterans Day observance was held Wednesday, Nov. 12 at Cedars Cemetery in Camden. It was held the day after the actual Veterans Day to avoid schedule conflicts with other events Tuesday.
