Artevia Murphy & Garland Parler to join in marriage March 2

On March 2, Artevia D. Murphy of Aiken, S.C. and Garland Demetious Parler of Camden will marry at Leaside Conference Center.

The parents of the bride are Mr. William Murphy of Augusta, GA and Ms. Linda C. Murphy of Aiken, S.C. Grandparents of the bride are Lillie Murphy and Late Thomas Murphy Sr. and Ora Bell Campbell Mathis and the late Levi Mathis.

The bride is a 2010 graduate of University of South Carolina-Aiken and is currently employed by SCANA Energy

Parents of the groom are Mr. Garland Parler III of Camden, S.C. and Mrs. Rhonda L Gilbert of Seneca, S.C. Grandparents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Garland Parler Jr. of Camden, S.C., Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Haggins of Bethune, S.C. and the late Ronald Henry of Bethune, S.C.

The groom is a 2009 graduate of the University of South Carolina and is currently employed at Sherwin Williams PSG.

The sand ceremony will be officiated by Apostle Tracy Lott and Pastor Willie Campbell. The bride will be given in marriage by Mr. William Murphy.

Ms. Jada Parler will be the flower girl and Mr. Marcus Harden will be the ring bearer.

The matron of honor will be Danielle Glover. The bridal party will include Brittney Rountree, Shelby Williams, Richelle Battles, Thanavia Franklin, Tammy Murphy, Pam Stokes and Monica Graves.

The best man will be Charles McDonald of Columbia, S.C. The groomsmen will be Jeremy Harkness, Harold Cauthen, Patrick Campbell, Leon Gamble, Randolph Badger, Abraham Brevard, Antonio Gilbert,Justin Warren,Walter McLaurin and the ushers will be Daniel Benjamin and Chris Tention.

The couple’s wedding trip will be to Antigua.
