Mrs. Charles Wills DuBose, of Camden, South Carolina, is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Edith Wills DuBose, to William Aldrich Schaller of Charleston, S.C., son of Mrs. Marie Simmons Hairston, of Savannah, Georgia, and Greenwich, Connecticut, and the late Charles Ridings Schaller of Fairfield, Conn., and Spring Island, S.C.
The bride elect is the daughter of the late Charles Wills DuBose and granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Perkins DuBose Jr., of Camden, S.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Woodward Easter, of Charlottesville, Virginia, and Lake Forest, Illinois. She graduated from the University of the South at Sewanee, Tennessee, with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a major in English. She currently resides in Charleston, S.C., and is a commercial broker with Adams and Wilson Development.
The bridegroom elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Precht Harms, of Savannah, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thomas Schaller of Virginia Beach, Va. He majored in Marine Affairs at the University of Rhode Island and is Operations Manager for Peeples Industries based in Savannah, Ga. A fall wedding is planned in Camden.
