Mr. and Mrs. Gist  Combs are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter Elizabeth Lane Combs to Jacob Willliam Louis Moriarty.

She is the daughter of Gist and Bridget Combs of  Camden.

Maternal grandparents are Frankie Burns and the late Mickey Burns of Camden. Parternal grandparents at the late Durwood and Bess Combs of Columbia, SC.

The bride obtained a Bachelors of Arts degree in Experimental Psychology at the University of  South Carolina. She will obtain a Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology at Western Carolina University in May of this year. She plans to pursue a doctorate degree in the fall.

The bridegroom is the son of Elaine Moriarty of Cassatt, and Bill Moriarty of Nunda, NY.

Maternal grandparents are Jeannie Gardner of Rochester, NY and Terry Gardner of  Swain, NY. Paternal grandparents are Jane and  William Moriarty of Camden, SC.

He attended the Univeristy of South Carolina and is employed as an electrician at Druffel Electric Company in Cashiers, NC. He plans to pursue a bachelors degree in computer engineering. 

The couple plan to be married in Lexington, SC on June 16, 2018.
