Miss Ashley Lynn Booth of Charleston, SC and Mr. William Green DesChamps IV of Charleston, SC were married on May 16, 2015 at St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church in Aiken. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. The Rev. Canon Joseph S. Whitehurst officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Lamarr Booth of Aiken, SC. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Teddy Frank Watkins and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Warren Woodrow Booth.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Green DesChamps II of Bishopville, SC. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Crues Bell, Jr. and of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Green DesChamps, Jr.

Mrs. Erin Booth Truitt of Aiken, SC was the Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were: Mrs. Julia DesChamps Burley of Columbia, SC; Mrs. Nicole Harper Guess of Knoxville, TN; Miss Ashley Christine Evans of Washington, D.C.; Miss Lauren Elizabeth Funke of Charleston, SC; Mrs. Heather Bacon-Rogers of Columbia, SC; Miss Kathryn Susan Mansfield of Columbia, SC; Mrs. Rachel Swihart Walden of Aiken, SC and Miss Caroline Rinehart Niland of Charleston, SC.

Mr. Carroll Green DesChamps II of Bishopville, SC was the best man. Following a reception at the Palmetto Golf Club, the couple left for a wedding trip to Napa Valley and Big Sur, California. A rehearsal party was given by the groom’s parents the night before at the Green Boundary Club.

The couple will reside in Charleston, SC.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of South Aiken High School. She is a graduate of USC-Aiken with a degree in English. She is employed by Litton Entertainment as a business affairs associate. The bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Lee Academy. He is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Finance and a 2012 graduate of the Charleston School of Law. He is employed by Hood Law Firm.
