Miss Emily Shirll Peake of Elgin and Mr. Joshua David Caughman of Columbia were joined in marriage on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon at Rock Bottom Pond in Ridgeway, South Carolina. Debbie Miles officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Berry Peake of Elgin, SC. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Colie Peake of Lugoff, SC and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur "Buddy" Jeffers of Elgin, SC.
Emily is a 2010 Graduate of Lugoff Elgin High School and currently attends Central Carolina Technical College where she is studying Human Services. She is employed at Protective Packaging, Inc.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Caughman, Columbia, SC. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Caughman, the late Mrs. Bille Caughman of Hopkins, and the late Mr. John Parris of Spartanburg, SC.
Joshua is a 2002 graduate of Spring Valley High School and is employed at FN America
Mrs. Jessica Bowers of Elgin, SC and Mrs. Grace Smith of Pikeville, NC served as Matrons of Honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Lauren Grice of Columbia, SC; Mrs. Marie Aiken of Elgin, SC and Miss Ashleigh Worley of Elgin, SC.
The best man was father of the groom, Mr. David Caughman of Columbia, SC.
Groomsmen were Mr. Chris Caughman of Nashville, TN; Mr. Michael Bellinger of Elgin, SC; Mr. Brian Bellinger of Columbia, SC, and Mr. CJ Aiken of Elgin, SC.
The flowergirls were Miss McKenzie Grice of Columbia, SC and Miss Zoey Smith of Pikeville, NC. Graham Caughman of Nashville, TN was the ring bearer.
Ms. Ragena Miles was the organist for the wedding and Mrs. Christina Richardson owner of Petal Pushers Uptown of Winnsboro, SC was the florist.
The reception was held at Rock Bottom Pond following the ceremony. The couple are going to Charleston, SC for their honeymoon.
