Miss Aimee Elaine Graham and Mr. Brent Allen Brown, both of Lugoff, were united in marriage March 26, 2011 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Brown, Sr. Mr. Les Kelley officiated the 2:30 p.m., double-ring ceremony. A reception followed the ceremony on the grounds at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Brown, Sr.
The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David L. Graham, is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Edmund H. Durgin and Mrs. Janet C. Durgin of Orangeburg, the late Reverend Lawrence B. Graham of Anderson, and Ms. Betty R. Graham of Camden. Aimee is a 2000 graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High School. She attended the University of South Carolina and is currently employed by A. Randolph Hough, P.A.
The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Brown, Sr., is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christie D. Brown of Columbia, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John T. Brazell of Columbia. He is a 1992 graduate of Spring Valley High School and is self-employed with Construction Solutions of the Carolinas, LLC.
The bride’s grandmother, Betty R. Graham, was the pianist. Musical selections included “I Love You Truly,” “Because,” “Whiter Thou Goest,” “Bridal Chorus,” “Sweetest Story Ever Told,” and “Wedding March.”
The ceremony was an intimate home gathering with the immediate family in attendance.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. David L. Graham, wore a timeless white satin A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline, ribbon at the waistline, sweep train and traditional elbow length veil. The bride carried a bold display of green hydrangea intermingled with fuchsia gerber daisies wrapped with white satin ribbon.
The flower girl was Miss Callie Brown of Lugoff, niece of the groom, and Miss Haylee Smith of Camden, niece of the bride. They wore white satin dresses with watermelon pink sashes.
The ring bearers were Braxon Reeves and Trenton Smith of Camden, nephews of the bride.
Following the wedding, the couple will reside in Elgin.
