Miss Jennifer Riley Neal ... Mrs. Jason Adden Stenger

Jennifer Riley Neal and Jason Adden Stegner were married Saturday, July 17, 2010, at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in
Columbia. The Reverend Douglas Holmes officiated the 6:00 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at Seawell’s.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Lash of Knoxville, Tennessee, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bell of Williston. She is also the daughter of Mr. Stuart Neal of Aiken and the granddaughter of Mr. Lee Neal and the late Mrs. Grace Neal of Aiken. She earned a degree in Public Service and is currently employed as a Paralegal for the District Attorney for the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The groom is the son of The Honorable and Mrs. Michael Stegner of Camden, and the grandson of Mr. Luther Adden,
Jr. and the late Mrs. Elizabeth Adden of Orangeburg and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Stegner of Levittown, Pennsylvania. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Graphic Design from the University of South Carolina, and is currently attending Appalachian School of Law in Virginia.

The bride wore a couture dupioni silk gown. The strapless gown flowed into layers of ruching that was complimented by
a bubble hemline. The back of the bodice was embellished with silk covered buttons. Silk roses framed the sides and middle of the dramatic train, giving her gown a romantic touch. In her hair, the bride wore an elbowlength veil with a champagne pencil edging, and a custom-designed hairpiece featuring three handcrafted flowers with Swarovski crystals and freshwater pearl centers.

Miss Jessica Bateman, cousin of the bride, served as maid of honor. Mrs. Lauren Dice and Miss Kamryn Hall, cousins of the bride; Mrs. Margaret Stegner, sister-in-law of the groom; Miss Jessica Woods, Mrs. Betsy Chandler, Miss Stephanie Antaya, Miss Insley Allen, and Miss Beth Spangler, all friends of the bride, were bridesmaids. Miss Addie Stegner, niece of the groom, served as flower girl.

Mr. Michael Stegner, father of the groom, served as best man. Mr. Ben Stegner and Mr. Craig Stegner, brothers of the
groom; Mr. Joshua Neal, brother of the bride; Mr. Alex Jennings, Mr. Jonathan Wright, Mr. Jordan Myers, Mr. Kyle McKenzie, Mr. John Thompson, and Mr. Nic Saldana, all friends of the groom, were groomsmen. Master Braylon Chandler, son of Jonathan and Betsy Chandler, served as ring bearer. Mr. John Boykin, Mr. Brendan Chick, Mr. Daniel Christenberry, and Mr. Daniel Sheheen, friends of the groom, served as ushers. Mr. Brendan Chick also read a passage from I Corinthians 13.

Music was provided by Mrs. McKenna Hydrick, vocalist; Mr. Michael Haywood, guitarist/piano; and Mr. English Morris, organist.

A rehearsal party was given by the groom’s family at the Palmetto Club in Columbia on Friday evening.

Following a honeymoon trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Grundy, Virginia.
