Miss Parks, Mr. Watts engaged

Mr. and Mrs. Westley Gene Parks of Camden are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Caroline Marie, to Mr. Jon Nicholas Watts of Lugoff. Jon is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Edward Watts Jr., of Lugoff.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Dianne Markwood Thompson of Atlanta, GA., Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Parks of Cleveland, GA., and Mrs. Patricia Williams Reynolds of Athens, GA. Caroline is a graduate of Thomas Sumter Academy. She received a Bachelor of Administration Degree in General Business Administration from Francis Marion University. She was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and is an active member of the Palmetto Alumni Chapter in Florence, SC. Caroline is the administrative associate and the director of teacher certification for the School of Education at Francis Marion University.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Walling of Columbia, SC., the late Mr. Harold Watts Sr. of Camden, and Mrs. Patricia Burns Watts of Camden. Jon is a graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and a minor in History from Francis Marion University. He also is a graduate of the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy in Columbia, SC. Jon is a police officer for the Florence City Police Department in Florence, SC.

The wedding is planned for April 14, 2012 at Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church with a reception following at Springdale Hall in Camden.
