Miss Taylor, Mr. Alexander exchange vows

Miss Anna Leigh Taylor of Lugoff and Mr. Cory Graham Alexander of Clover were united in marriage June 25, 2011 at Trinity Baptist Church in Lugoff.  Rev. Dr. Charles R. Everett officiated at the 5:30 p.m.  double-ring ceremony. A reception followed at TenEleven Galleria in Camden.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. William R. Taylor of Lugoff. She is a 2003 graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High School, and a 2007 Graduate of Charleston Southern University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree. She is 2011 graduate of Lesley University where she earned a Master’s Degree and is employed as a teacher with Richland II School District in Columbia.

The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Alexander in Clover, is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Shuford Deal of Taylorsville, NC and Mrs. Jo Alexander of Clover. He is a 2008 graduate of University of North Carolina in Charlotte and is a Project Manager with Communication Management, Inc. in Columbia.

Ms. Sandy Pace provided piano music for the ceremony. Other musicians were Blaine Helton on guitar and vocalists Janet Burgin of Clover.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

The matron of honor was Erin Boyce of Elgin. Bridesmaids were Ashley Graham of Goose Creek; Jamie Thrower of St. Stephen; Jamie Faile of Kershaw; and Lauren Welborne of Mooresville, NC.

The best man was Blaine Helton of York. Ushers/groomsmen were James Welborne of Charlotte, NC; Chris Welborne of Landis, NC; Allan Taylor of Lugoff; and Justin Gadsden of Charleston.

The flower girl was Madison McAlister of Knoxville, TN and the ring bearer was Griffin McAlister of Knoxville, TN.
After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Elgin, SC.
