Miss Watts, Mr. Gourley plan spring wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Randall Watts of Lugoff announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Jenny Marie Watts, to Mr. William Haynie Gourley III of Annapolis, Maryland. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Casey of Palm Coast, Florida and Mr. and Mrs. William Haynie Gourley, Jr. of Nashville, Tennessee.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the Reverend and Mrs. James Ellis Wilmington of Ohio, Mr. and Mrs. R. Glen Hardin Brown of Summit, N.C., Mr. and Mrs. Don Hall of High Point, N.C. and the late Mr. Roy H. Watts, Jr. Jenny graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2008, and is employed by the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations in Atlanta, Ga.  She currently works at Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant in Lusby, Md.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. Edgar Gillock of Bolivar, Tenn., Ms. Joan Gillock of Memphis, Tenn. and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Haynie Gourley of Nashville, Tenn. William earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Furman University in 2005, and a Juris Doctor degree from Michigan State University College of Law in 2008.  He is currently an attorney with Whiteford, Taylor & Preston LLP in Washington, D.C.

The wedding is planned for April 16, 2011 at Saint John’s United Methodist Church in Lugoff.
