Mr. and Mrs. Terry Dowey of Lugoff are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ms. Stephanie Ann Dowey of Lugoff to Mr. Michael Scott Humphries of Lugoff.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ms. Doris Dowey of Lugoff and the late Mr. Alex Dowey, and the late Mr. A.D. McGee and the late Ms. Grace Hudson,

The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate from Lugoff-Elgin High School.

The groom-elect is the son of Ms. Tina Hudson of Lugoff and the late Ronnie Humphries of Lugoff.

The grandparents of the groom-elect are Ms. Louise Prevatte and the late Toby Humphries, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hudson.

The groom-elect is a 2007 graduate from Lugoff-Elgin High School and is employed with Avantech in Columbia.

The couple will be married October 20, 2012 at the El-Bethel Faith Community Church in Lugoff.
