Shelby Lynn Kelly and Jansen Overton Simmons were united in marriage 5:30, June 24 2018 at 701 Whaley in Columbia, S.C. Reverend Kevin Lott performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride was given away by her father, Brian Kelly.
She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brian Kelly of camden. the granddaughter of Mrs. Jeanne Kelly of Columbia, Ohio. The late Mr. and Mrs. James Grisez and the late William Kelly.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nyle Simmons. Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Rod Simmons. Maternal grandparents are Ruby Jo Faircloth and the late Ray Faircloth.
The bride wore a gown of delicate lace appliques floating over the bodice, plunging sweetheart neckline, and illusion cap-sleeves in this ethereal A-line wedding dress. A dazzling bead and Swarovski crystal belt and illusion open back trimmed with lace appliqus evoke subtle glamour. Finished with covered buttons and zipper closure. Worn with a cathedral length veil and a bouquet with greenery, peonies, and white roses.
Maid of honor was sister of the bride, Jessi Barnes.
Bridemaids were Haley Maree, Grace Johnson, Meg Franklin, Katie Holden and Kristen O’Brien. All girls wore a blush pink, floor length, halter style dress.
The best man was Jeremy Simmons, brother of the groom.
Groomsmen were Cody Davis, Tyler Wiseman, Sean Stewart, Adam Parler and Kevin Simoneaux.
The bridal party and family walked in to various hymns played on the guitar, and the bride walked down the aisle to Processional by Josh Garrels (also played acoustically).
Instrumentalist was Ben Ridgway - acoustic guitar.
Ben Ridgeway and Miranda Godfrey were vocalists.
Decorations and florals were made by the Fairy Godflowers - Karen, Niki, and Leslie. Made with lots of greenery, white and blush pink flowers.
A reception followed with DJ TJ McKay providing the music, The Catery on Broad in Camden provided breakfast for dinner.
The couple traveled to Seattle, Wash., to stay on an island in the Puget Sound.
They now reside in Aiken, S.C.
