John and Nell (Rousseau) Rankin of Elgin, SC will observe their 60th wedding anniversary along with their children; Brian Rankin (Carol), Cathy Hanna, Caren Canup (Jim), Alan Rankin (Shirley), David Rankin (Diana), Jack Rankin (Susan) on October 19, 2013. John and Nell were married October 17, 1953. The couple has six children, seventeen grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
