Stevens and Brown united in marriage

Mr. and Mrs. Evan Porter Brown

Brennan Ashlyn Stevens of Camden and Evan Porter Brown of Irmo were married at Lakeview Baptist Church in Camden on September 7, 2013 at 5 p.m. Reverend Stephen Speaks officiated the traditional double-ring ceremony.

Brennan is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Brennan Stevens of Camden. She is the granddaughter of the late A.L. Spears and Mrs. Sarah Spears and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Early Stevens. She graduated from Clemson University in August 2013 with a business management degree.

Evan is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Harold Brown. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. George Silvey and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brown. He graduated from Clemson University in May 2013 with an electrical engineering degree.

Music for the wedding was provided by pianist Jed Stevens, guitarist Preston Bailey and vocalists Rebekah Howard and Brittany Hazel.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her maid of honor was Meredith Toole of Lugoff. The bridesmaids were Kayla Weathers of Camden, Peyton Bullard of Camden and Katrina Ross of Lexington. Honorary bridesmaids were Dori Brown of Irmo, Jayme Brown of Irmo and Julie Hagerup of Seguin, TX.

The best man was Joshua Brown of Charlotte, NC. The groomsmen were Jesse McCallister of Irmo, Caleb Cox of Taylors and Liam O’Sullivan of Hartsville.

The ushers were Gregg Garvin of Columbia, Karim Alimohammed of Charleston, Nick Zamboni of Irmo and Lane Stevens of Alexandria, VA. The flower girl was Skylar Garvin of Columbia and the ring bearer was Henry Hancock of Clemson.

The couple celebrated their reception at TenEleven Galleria and enjoyed a wedding cruise to the Bahamas.
