Among the animals available for adoption at the Thiel-Meyer Adoption Center are Zeus, a 6-month-old male Terrier mix dog, and Ellie, a 1-year-old female domestic short-haired cat. The adoption donation includes spaying or neutering. The center, on Black River Road east of Camden and managed by the Kershaw County Humane Society, is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
