This is the time of year when you want to be playing your best. And the Kershaw County American Legion baseball team is checking all the boxes in their quest for a second straight trip to the state tournament. Post 17 opened its first round state playoff best-of-five series with visiting West Columbia with a 10-0 win at American Legion Park on Monday.
