24 hours of LeMons comes to Camden and CMP this weekend

It has been termed “Where Halloween meets gasoline.” And, ready or not, the 24 Hours of LeMons is returning to the Carolina Motorsports Park in Westville this weekend for another weekend of serious racing and even more serious fun.Before the cars, which must have been purchased and/or prepared for $500 or less, hit the race course on Saturday, they will be on display at a free block party on Broad Street --- which will be blocked off to traffic --- in Camden beginning at 6:30 p.m. tonight and continuing until 9:30 p.m.LeMons (pronounced lemons) officials anticipate that more than 100 cars with their teams will descend on downtown Camden for a party which will include live music and vendors selling both food and refreshments. The public is invited to attend the party, take a look at some of the colorful vehicles.
