In his 21 years working at the Carolina Motorsports Park, David Watkins has seen some of the best drivers in the world make their way around the Westville facility’s 2.7-mile main track. In addition to developing a good working relationship with many of those men and women, Watkins understands which ones know their way around a road course and, equally important, will give him an honest assessment of what things need to be changed.
