After his team lost their first two games of the Region 4-AAA season, Camden High boys’ basketball coach Ron McKie said his team could ill afford to drop too far down in the conference standings if they were to make a play for one of the four post-season berths allotted to the six-team circuit. Tuesday night, the Bulldogs stayed in the conference chase with a 39-36 road win at Dreher. The Dogs were coming off consecutive double-digits losses to top-ranked A.C. Flora and Lower Richland last week, Senior center Tryone Kelly led Camden and all scorers with 11 points for the winners while Donovan Belton and Malik Green both came off the bench to add seven points each.
