Having to replace four graduated starters from a team which advanced to the AAA Upper State semifinals before losing to eventual state champion Southside, Camden head coach Ron McKie knew there would be some growing pains and bumps in the road for his 2018-19 Bulldogs. For a team still learning how to win, closing out games has been a bit challenging which is doing nothing for their head coach’s stress level. Leading visiting Lugoff-Elgin, 53-52, with less than 90 seconds to play in Friday’s game inside the Dog Pound, McKie was hoping his team would run some time off the clock and work for an easy shot.
