Camden girls pull away from Lady Demons for 56-35 win
CAMDENS LANIYA MINGO HAS a step on L-Es Jasmine Sexton (24) as she drives to the basket in action from Fridays CHS victory.
Just when the good Camden team looked to be taking care of business, the bad Camden squad reared its head. After having jumped to an 11-2 lead in the first four minutes of Friday’s game at Lugoff-Elgin, the Lady Bulldogs found themselves in a (pardon the pun) dogfight after the hostesses reeled off eight unanswered points. But Camden had a couple more runs left in it as Natalie Jeffcoat’s charges improve to 1-1 on the season with a 56-35 victory over L-E Friday night inside the Demons Den.
