KELLEYTOWN --- Not that Hartsville needed any help, but Camden gave the defending AAA state champions plenty of it.The visiting Bulldogs scored the first points of the season against the veteran Red Fox defense. But the hosts answered that with 41 straight points in extending their streak to five straight victories over their nearby rivals in a 41-7 win Friday night at Kelleytown Stadium.Led by an 18-carry for 247 yards and four trips into the end zone rushing effort by sophomore tailback Brian Rivers, Jeff Calabrese’s troops won their 18th straight game while improving to 3-0 on the season. For the Bulldogs, the setback was their first in three outings as CHS heads into its bye week.Half of the Red Foxes six touchdowns came as the result of Camden turnovers, two of those came in the first half which ended with the host carrying a 21-7 lead into their locker room.
