Whether it served as a wake-up call or, a slap in the face, Columbia High’s game-opening 78-yard, 19-play scoring drive may have been just the kick in the backside which Camden needed Thursday night. Playing in front of a smattering of home fans at Memorial Stadium, the visiting Bulldogs rebounded from a slow start against the rebuilding Capitals before getting in sync in the second half to pull away for a 41-14 victory. The win locked up a AAA state playoff berth for Camden; its first since 2014.
