It would be easy for Camden and head coach Jimmy Neal to look to the heavens and ask, “Why us?”As if to add insult to injury to another playoff-less season, the Bulldogs lost another starting quarterback last Wednesday afternoon when sophomore Ross Hough, who took over under center two weeks ago following an injury to starting signal-caller Josh Council, was ruled out by a doctor after having been diagnosed with a concussion suffered in last Friday’s game with Westwood. Now, for the third time this season and the fourth time since the end of 2011, the Bulldogs will have a new face calling the signals when they travel to Chapin for tonight’s season finale. With word as to Hough’s injury filtering down, Camden spent latter part of the week with seniors Jerel Holloman, Alexx Cooke and sophomore Parker Robinson each stepping in under center. In spite of not going to the post-season for a second straight season, Neal said he liked the way his team approached practice this week. That, he acknowledged, was made easier thanks to most of his team’s starters and several key reserves being underclassmen.“I’ve been real pleased with our guys.
