Given his team’s recent rash of injuries, Camden High baseball coach Denny Beckley could not complain about his team being in third place in the Region 6-AAA race with three conference games left on their schedule. The Bulldogs improved to 5-2 in league play and 8-6 overall after downing defending conference champion Marlboro County, 7-3, last Friday night at American Legion Park. The win was the third straight for the hosts, who received a strong starting effort from junior Jake Ansley.
