As he looked ahead to this week’s back-to-back pairings with Irmo and Wilson Hall, Camden High tennis coach Roger Smoak was hoping to get, at least, a split of the two matches. Now, Smoak and company can get a little greedy. The Bulldogs won for the third straight time by upending host Irmo, 4-3, Wednesday afternoon to improve to 3-2 on the season heading into Thursday’s pairing at Wilson Hall.“This was a real good win for us,” Smoak said after the victory over the 4A Yellow Jackets. “We knew we could win it, but we knew that we had to play a good match. This was, by far, our best all-around match of the season.”Camden rode the backs of its first two singles players, Jo Jo Tiller and Roderick Todd, who scored three wins.
