Bulldogs hang on for 3-2 win over Knights

with a big effort, the senior gave the Bulldogs just what they wanted.Hough, a 6-foot-2 right-hander, went the distance on the mound as the visiting Bulldogs scored a run in the top of the seventh to break a 2-all tie and give them a 3-2 win over Crestwood Tuesday night.The victory gave Camden a 3-2 record in Region 6-AAA and a 5-5 overall mark.Hough went seven innings in which he scattered five hits while fanning five batters and walking one.“Will had a very productive outing for us,” said Camden head coach Denny Beckley. “He was very effective and he had a very low pitch count which enabled him to go deep in the game and to finish it out.”The Dogs took a 1-0 lead with a run in the second with Josh Lund rapping a leadoff single before being replaced on the bases by courtesy runner Jalen Rice who would take home on a straight steal for the first run. Two innings later, the guests went on top, 2-0, as Hough was hit by a pitch with Nick Tucker running for the pitcher.
