When things were at their toughest for the Camden High baseball team this season, head coach Denny Beckley preached about staying the course and peaking at the right time. That time may have come Monday as the Bulldogs rode the right arm of Will Abbott for eight innings and used timely hitting to go along with thievery on the base paths to topple host Chester, 4-3. The one-run win put Camden in the driver’s seat in the AAA District III Upper State tournament.
