Camden High tennis coach Roger Smoak is a proponent of the saying that once you fall off a horse, get back on it as quickly as possible. For that reason, Smoak was glad his Bulldogs were able to play a match the day after Monday’s loss to rival Lugoff-Elgin. On Tuesday, the Dogs got back to winning as they snapped a two-match skid with a 4-3 victory over visiting A.C. Flora in a Region 4-AAA match.“This was a good bounce back win for us,” said Smoak, whose team improved to 2-1 in conference play and 6-2 overall. “It was good to play a match the next day and get that loss out of our system instead of having to wait around for three or four days to play another match.“It would have been easy for our guys to be down and feeling sorry for ourselves after losing to an arch-rival.
