One of the most successful cross country campaigns in Camden High history continued to get better as the Camden boys’ won last Wednesday’s Region 4-AAA championships. While the Bulldogs took first place honors, the CHS girls came in second in a meet hosted by Camden High but contested at Clemson’s Sandhills Research Park in Columbia due to damaged from Hurricane Matthews to the team’s home course at Historic Camden Revolutionary War Site. Coached by Jerry Stokes, the Camden boys edged Indian Land for the title, 28-29.
