Bulldogs state champs return to the hardwood

Camden High School will host a "5 on 5 at 5:00" basketball marathon to be played on Saturday, Feb. 21 from 5 p.m. inside the school’s Gym. School clubs will play on a rotating basis throughout the day.

The event which is part of the school’s "Dog Pound Weight Loss Challenge" will conclude with an alumni game at 7 p.m. featuring members of Bulldogs’ 2008-09 AAA state championship team.

Club members are soliciting pledges on a per hour basis while inviting other alumni beyond the 2008-09 team will to play and will consider forming additional alumni teams. Please call Laura Horton, at 425-8937, if you are interested in entering a team in the marathon. If there is enough interest, more than one alumni game will be played that evening.

Tickets to the marathon are $1 for the day-long event or, $2 for the 2008-09 alumni game Proceeds from the "5 on 5 at 5:00" marathon will benefit the Camden Community Medical Clinic and the PAALS service dog organization.

CHS hopes to raise $1,000 for PAALS in order to have a service dog named Camden donated to the organization.

 

 

Meet the Bulldogs on deck:

The Camden Bulldog Club will host "Meet the Bulldogs" on Thursday, February 26th at 6:30 p.m.

A hamburger supper will be served before the program. Members of the winter and spring varsity teams --- basketball, wrestling, dance, baseball, softball, boys’ and girls’ soccer, boys’ tennis, track and field and boys’ golf --- will be introduced.

 

 

Spring sports schedules/season tickets now available:

Copies of the 2015 CHS spring sports schedules poster may be picked up at the school or at the games.

The Bulldog Club provides copies of these posters three times per year.

In addition, spring sports passes may be purchased in the CHS Athletic Office located in the Wellness Center or at the games/matches.

Student passes are $20 and adult passes are $30. A pass allows the bearer admission to all regular season varsity and junior varsity spring sports games or matches.
