Whoever said the spread offense is all the rage and teams from coast to coast are employing the scheme has not taken a look at Camden’s football schedule. Two weeks ago, Hartsville came to town and threw a flexbone set at Camden which faced a traditional scheme against Lugoff-Elgin before going up against North Central’s spread and wildcat sets in the season’s first two games. A week ago in a win over Cheraw, the Bulldog defense saw everything from two wides and two backs to a bit of the spread with some wishbone mixed in for good measure.
