Camden, L-EHS split inaugural MCCU Holiday Classic

The Camden High School (CHS) Bulldogs and Lugoff-Elgin High School (L-EHS) Demons boys and girls basketball teams split in taking championships at the inaugural Mid-Carolina Credit Union Holiday Classic at renovated E. Clarkson Rhame City Arena in Camden on Tuesday. The CHS boys earned their championship with a 46-44 victory over the Demons, while the Lady Demons won 41-38 over the Lady Bulldogs to take home their championship trophy. The two-day event, which started Monday, featured the boys and girls teams from CHS, L-EHS, North Central High School (NCHS) and Robert E. Lee Academy (RELA).
