Of the many different programs which the Camden High tennis team has defeated over the years, Chapin was not on that list.Things stayed that way on Tuesday as the visiting Eagles pinned a 4-2 loss on Camden in the home regular season and Region 4-AAA finale played on the Roger Smoak Tennis Courts. The Bulldogs fell to 2-8 in conference action and 9-8 overall heading into Thursday’s scheduled match at Lugoff-Elgin.“This was one of those matches that everybody wanted to win so badly,” said Camden head coach Roger Smoak. “Our kids were down after this match and I was right there with them. Everybody on our team had pointed toward this match after we lost to Chapin the first time we played them.“This was a great match to watch if you did not care about which team won.
