Eyeing their first win of what has been a tough Region 4-AAA season, the Camden girls’ basketball team was in as good a shape as they have been in since the start of league play but could not finish the job. Trailing, 24-20, at the break, the Lady Bulldogs ran into trouble against Chapin’s full-court pressure in the second half and ran out of steam in a 52-38 Tuesday night loss. The setback dropped Natalie Jeffcoat’s charges to 0-5 after the first round of play in the top-heavy conference.
