When he arrived with his team in Chapin on Saturday afternoon and felt the wind blowing, Camden head baseball coach Denny Beckley had a feeling it might be his squad’s day. Instead, it was the host Eagles which took advantage of the breezy conditions and rode the arm of Evan Estridge to the Region 4-AAA title with a 7-1 win over the visiting Bulldogs. Camden finish second in the conference with an 8-2 record with both defeats coming at the hands of Chapin and Estridge, who limited Camden to one run for the second time in as many starts versus the Bulldogs this season.
