Looks don’t come much clearer than this. With her team trailing by three points and with 3.1 seconds left in regulation in Friday’s game with visiting A.C. Flora, Camden’s Sharneece Gary had a wide-open look at the basket from dead center outside the 3-point arc.The senior guard delivered in knocking down the trey as the buzzer sounded to send this Region 4-AAA contest into overtime, tied at 45. In the extra session, the host Lady Bulldogs used four consecutive free throws in the closing 31.4 seconds from junior guard Brooke Dixon to come away with the 53-50 victory. The win kept Natalie Jeffcoat’s troops in the playoff picture as they improved to 3-4 in conference play with the emotional victory. Camden and A.C. Flora are tied for the fourth and final playoff berth in the seven-team circuit with 3-4 league marks and are a game out of third place, held by Chapin (4-3).
