After opening the season with three lopsided victories, the Camden High wrestling team enjoyed its biggest win of the young season, while exacting a bit of revenge in the process, in Tuesday’s win over Hartsville. In a match which ended in a 42-42 deadlock, the Bulldogs were awarded the victory on the first tie-breaking criteria in having more pins than did the visiting Red Foxes. The outcome was a far cry from a year ago when Hartsville overwhelmed the Dogs in both their meetings.Scoring wins for the Bulldogs on Tuesday were Dymear Atkinson, who won by a first period pin at 106 pounds before Conner Newman won via forfeit at 112. Alex Zimmerman and Jaydon Pollard made quick work of their opponents with first period pins at 126 and 132 pounds, respectively.
