All Jimmy Neal was missing was the top hat, vest, spats on his shoes and a cigar dangling from his mouth. With his team staring up at a 20-17 deficit against visiting West Florence and looking at a fourth and eight from the WF 10 with a shade more than a minute to go, the Camden High head coach did his best impersonation of a riverboat gambler. Rather than attempt what would have been a game-tying field goal, Neal sent his offense back out following a time out.The result was quarterback Denzel Martin finding a sliding Alexx Cooke in the front center of the end zone with 55 ticks left in the game clock for what proved to be the winning touchdown in a 23-20 Bulldog victory. That is not to say that this game was secure following the play. A missed extra point kick and a 15-yard face mask penalty on the ensuing kickoff put the visiting Knights at their own 46 with 47 seconds left.
