Using first six half goals, the Camden High boys’ soccer team kept their playoff possibilities flickering with a 9-1 conference win over Lower Richland on Tuesday night in Hopkins. The victory came one night before the Bulldogs’ 3-0 non-region win over Lewisville as Mark Chickering’s charges improved to 6-10 overall and 2-5 in Region 4-AAA. “We needed a region win really bad if we are going to have any shot at the playoffs and we got it tonight,” Chickering said following Wednesday’s match against the Diamond Hornets whose tally came by a penalty kick in the 71st minute. The Bulldogs scored the only goal they would need in the first minute as Nick Ranges took a feed from Nick Marzullo in the middle of the box and sent home the night’s first goal.
